PEACE OF MIND
All Active 1st staff are fully CRB checked to enhanced level and fully screened prior to working with us.
Hydration in Children (aged 3-12*)
Infants and young children have a higher proportion of body water than adults. They are also less heat tolerant and more susceptible to dehydration, especially when being physically active and in hot climates. Encouraging children to drink fluids regularly is particularly important so although not a requirement, we supply all Activators with free water and juice to rehydrate, subject to parents consent.
Health and Safety
We make sure there is always a fully trained paediatric first aider on site just in case of accidents, which of course we try to avoid at all costs.
Active 1st are fully insured and compliant to look after your children, with full public liability.
BSI the UK’s National Standards Body has recently published a specification to cater for the growing interest in outdoor fitness facilities. PAS 888 Publicly Accessible Outdoor Exercise Equipment outlines the safety requirements and at Active 1st we make sure all equipment is BSI approved.
